2027 Acura Integra: What's Changing, Release Date and Pricing for NYC Drivers
The Integra is the Acura that makes the most sense in a city: a five-door liftback that parks like a compact, carries like a small wagon and still feels special on a clear run up the Taconic. For 2027 the news is less about what Acura adds than what it takes away.
What's changing on the 2027 Acura Integra?
Almost nothing, with one notable exception. Autoblog and CarsDirect describe the 2027 Integra as a carryover of the car refreshed for 2026: same 200 hp 1.5-liter turbo, same liftback body, same screens. The exception is the stick shift. In July 2026 Honda confirmed to Car and Driver that its 1.5-liter turbo paired with the six-speed manual will pause after the 2026 model year. In the U.S. that pairing exists only in the Civic Si and the Integra A-Spec with Technology Package, so the 2027 Integra is expected with the CVT alone.
Honda calls the pause temporary and plans to bring both manual versions back, without a timeline. A leaked plant memo tied it to emissions certification; Honda's statement cited evolving business conditions. Enthusiasts still have an out: the 320 hp Integra Type S, built in Marysville, Ohio, keeps its six-speed manual. Acura has not formally announced a 2027 Type S, but it is sending the car to Japan this year, hardly the move of a brand planning to drop it. CarsDirect has passed along unconfirmed talk of the nameplate ending around 2028; Acura has said nothing of the kind.

When is the 2027 Acura Integra release date?
2027 Integra release timing at a glance
- Announced: not yet. Acura had issued no 2027 Integra release as of September 11, 2026.
- Precedent: the refreshed 2026 Integra reached dealers on August 19, 2025.
- Expected arrival: CarsDirect had pointed to August 2026. That window passed quietly, so fall 2026 into early 2027 looks more realistic.
- Manual buyers: Honda expects 2026 manual A-Spec inventory to last into early 2027. After that, only the Type S offers a stick.
- What to do now: tell us trim, color and transmission, and we will flag the first matching 2027 allocation. No deposit, no obligation.
The gap between model years usually favors the buyer: with no 2027 price sheet to compare against, the current car tends to carry the most room to negotiate. Check this month's lease specials and the latest Acura incentives before deciding to wait.
Will the 2027 Acura Integra cost more?
Probably only a little. Autoblog expects 2027 pricing to stay fairly flat, with a starting price under $34,000, and the recent record backs that up. The 2026 refresh added a larger screen and wireless phone mirroring while raising the base price by just $400, to $33,400. Since then Acura has nudged destination from $1,195 to $1,295 (by January 2026) and lifted the Type S by $500 to $53,900 (May 2026). The 1.5-liter trims have not moved.
Real-world prices help too. Kelley Blue Book's Fair Purchase Price put the base 2026 Integra near $32,100 against a $34,695 sticker late last year. Next to the Audi A3, Mercedes-Benz CLA and BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe, it typically starts lower and is the only five-door liftback in the class.
2027 Acura Integra trims compared
Industry reporting expects the base Integra, A-Spec, A-Spec with Technology Package and Type S to return, minus the manual A-Spec. Until Acura publishes 2027 data, the table shows confirmed 2026 pricing and equipment.
| Trim | 2026 MSRP | Transmission | EPA mpg city / hwy / comb. | Wheels | Highlights |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Integra 2026 spec | $33,400 | CVT, 200 hp | 29 / 37 / 32 | 17-in alloy | Moonroof, heated front seats, 9-in touchscreen, 10.2-in digital cluster, wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, AcuraWatch |
| A-Spec 2026 spec | $35,950 | CVT, 200 hp | 29 / 37 / 32 | 18-in black alloy | Adds aero body kit, LED fog lights, gloss black spoiler, sport pedals, extended ambient lighting |
| A-Spec with Technology (CVT) 2026 spec | $39,200 | CVT, 200 hp | 29 / 37 / 32 | 18-in black alloy | Adds adaptive dampers, head-up display, 16-speaker ELS Studio 3D audio, microsuede seats, driver memory, dual-zone climate, parking sensors, remote start |
| A-Spec with Technology (6MT) 2026 only, paused for 2027 | $39,200 | 6-speed manual, rev-match, limited-slip diff | 26 / 36 / 30 | 18-in black alloy | As above, minus remote start, Low-Speed Follow and Traffic Jam Assist |
| Type S 2026 spec, 2027 not announced | $53,900 | 6-speed manual, 320 hp | 21 / 28 / 24 | 19-in, summer tires | Brembo front brakes, wider body, adaptive dampers, triple exhaust; no moonroof |
Two details matter more than price. Every CVT Integra shares one 32 mpg combined rating, so base versus A-Spec is purely about equipment. And the manual gives up Low-Speed Follow and Traffic Jam Assist, the features that do the most work in stop-and-go traffic, which makes its pause less of a loss for city commuters than it sounds.

Which Integra suits a New York routine?
For most drivers, it is the A-Spec with Technology Package on the CVT. It is the only 1.5-liter trim with front and rear parking sensors, which earn their keep on tight parallel parks, and its adaptive dampers take the sting out of potholes. The head-up display keeps your eyes up around double-parked vans, and remote start is a small luxury on a January morning.
The base car suits garage parkers who drive mostly on weekends. The Type S is a different animal: thrilling on an open parkway, but with 4.0 inches of ground clearance and 19-inch summer tires it asks for winter wheels and care on steep driveways. Every Integra is front-wheel drive, which copes well with plowed streets on proper tires.
Inside: a cockpit that works and a cargo hold that surprises

Every Integra now gets the 9-inch touchscreen that used to be reserved for the top trim, running on a faster processor, along with wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and a Qi charging pad. The 10.2-inch Precision Cockpit display is standard. The A-Spec with Technology Package adds a 5.3-inch head-up display and the 16-speaker ELS Studio 3D system, named for Grammy-winning engineer Elliot Scheiner.
Space is where the liftback pays off. There is 24.3 cubic feet behind the rear seat, and Autoblog counted room for five carry-on bags with the seat up and 18 with it folded. Rear legroom is 37.4 inches, and the 60/40 split seatback takes a flat-pack bookshelf or a stroller plus groceries, jobs that defeat most luxury sedans.
How the 2027 Integra compares with the last restyle
The current Integra launched for 2023, added the Type S for 2024 and got its one refresh for 2026, focused on tech and trim rather than sheet metal.
| Model year | What changed | Base MSRP | Type S MSRP | Destination |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2025 | Pre-refresh car; 7-in touchscreen and wired phone mirroring on base and A-Spec | $33,000 | $52,900 | $1,195 |
| 2026 | Refresh: 9-in touchscreen and wireless CarPlay, Android Auto and charging standard; A-Spec aero kit and black 18-in wheels; three new colors | $33,400 | $53,400, then $53,900 from May | $1,195, then $1,295 by January |
| 2027 | Carryover expected, per industry reporting; manual A-Spec paused | Not announced | Not announced | Not announced |
Inside, the refresh added a new dash trim pattern, yellow stitching on Ebony A-Spec interiors and blue microsuede with Orchid. A certified pre-owned Integra from before the update costs less, but the larger screen and wireless connectivity are felt on every drive. The Integra shares its bones with the Honda Civic; Plaza Honda's 2027 Civic guide shows where that side is heading.

Safety scores, awards and the good news
The Integra holds an IIHS Top Safety Pick covering 2025 and 2026 models, and NHTSA gives the 2026 car a 5-star overall rating. Every trim has AcuraWatch with automatic emergency braking, lane keeping, blind spot information and rear cross traffic monitoring, plus rear side airbags.
The trophy shelf is crowded. The Integra was the 2023 North American Car of the Year, Kelley Blue Book gave the 2025 model its Best Resale Value Award among compact luxury cars, and Car and Driver named the Type S an Editors' Choice for the third year running in 2026. Cars.com placed it in the top 20 of its 2026 American-Made Index, and Acura says it takes roughly 40 percent of segment retail sales. The brand, which turns 40 this year, was named America's Best Value Luxury Brand by Kelley Blue Book in 2025. Coverage runs 4 years or 50,000 miles, with 6 years or 70,000 miles on the powertrain.
Why the Integra works for New York drivers
Start with the footprint. At 185.8 inches long and 55.5 inches tall, the Integra slips into parallel spots and low-ceiling garages that turn away most SUVs, and Traffic Jam Assist on the CVT cars takes the edge off the Van Wyck, the BQE and the Major Deegan at rush hour.
Then the math. At 32 mpg combined with a 12.4-gallon tank, the CVT cars cover close to 400 miles between fill-ups, useful when gas in the city costs more than across the river. Acura recommends 91-octane premium, so budget for it. The liftback lets one car handle the commute, a JFK pickup and a weekend in the Berkshires or the Hamptons. Ownership costs run high here, so strong resale value and a 100,000-mile tune-up interval count for more. Want more height? Read our 2027 Acura ADX guide, or step up to the Acura RDX.
